With Eric Pickersgill, it is the modernity of the virtual community that is questioned. In May 2016, he noticed the existence on social networks of false events, “fakes” or hoaxes, especially on Facebook. “No Show” tells of an event of this type: a hypothetical concert of Limp Bizkit on a shopping centre car park. Turning up for this, the photographer documents the expectations and various reactions of the “victims” of this false information. This series takes on an extra dimension through the portraits and interviews of producers of such fakes.
