Jake Verzosa (Manille, 1979) est un photographe indépendant philippin reconnu pour son travail dans la mode et la publicité.
Ce succès lui a permis d’élargir ses champs de recherche vers des thèmes plus personnels tels que l’identité ou les cultures traditionnelles.
Cette série présente des portraits en noir et blanc des dernières femmes tatouées de la tribu Kalinga, une ethnie du nord des Philippines.
Cet excellent portraitiste n’est pas un inconnu de la scène photographique. Il a déjà été nominé pour le World Press Photo et a exposé à Photoquai, Paris.
